JOB TITLE: Production Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

  • Overview: This is a support position, reporting to the Operations Manager. The position requires a combination of skills including garment industry knowledge, sewing proficiency, organization, attention to detail, oral and written communication, and computer/technology. 

    Production: 
    • Maintain, monitor, and facilitate product development with HH CEO, Designer, and Production Consultant 
    • Construct garment samples to CEO/Designer specifications 
    • Prepare and execute monthly and quarterly forecasting for repeat production 
    • Maintain and administer production using AIMS360 software 
    • Prepare cost sheets and production recommendations for all new garments 
    • Generate material requirements and issue purchase orders to raw material vendors 
    • Create and manage all production cuts for repeat production, Spring/Summer limited edition lines and overseas manufacturing 
    • Issue trim pulls to HH Warehouse 
    • Issue contracts to labor contractors and log all signed contracts 
    • Maintain vendor compliance files 
    • Maintain and monitor raw material, trim pull, and labor schedules 
    • Oversee Production Consultant for all off-site activities 
    • Plan and execute weekly meetings with Production Consultant to cover all WIP and upcoming projects

    Inventory Control:

    • Count all fabric/raw materials stocked at contractor locations in Los Angeles 
    • Run variance report and finalize raw inventory counts 
    • Conduct material inventory process in AIMS360 for finalized raw material counts

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be AIMS360 certified
  • Excellent organizational skills and very detail oriented 
  • Strong computer skills including AIMS360, Magento, Mail Order Manager, Microsoft Suite and other computer systems Hobby Horse introduces for its operations 
  • Proficient sewing and pattern work skills
